It's strange, that utter feeling of wrongness, of displacement, like your body and your soul are being ripped apart and going in two different directions. Maybe it lasts just an instant, maybe it feels like an eternity, but once it feels like you're stretched to the limit, the pieces of you are suddenly slammed back together violently.

You wake up staring at a hospital ceiling as a woman you've never seen gently urges you out of bed. Your ears don't seem to want to work, though you dimly make out the words Maverick Hunters and otherworlders and academy in her speech. She checks you over, examining your body, teeth, eyes, and everything, then proudly declares you as healthy. Even as you try to stutter out your questions, she shoves an odd data pad into your hands, the tablet in a color and bearing a symbol that fits you, then shoos you out, telling you that the information is on the pad and that she has other people to attend to.

It seems you've been brought to an alternate world, where robots known as Reploids rule this place and where, it seems, a group known as the Maverick Hunters has decided to take in all the displaced people like yourself and give them somewhere safe to live... and, if you choose to, learn whatever you may please, including the secrets that lay below the surface of this world.

Welcome to The Hunter Academy! We're a panfandom dressing room that's set in the Megaman X timeline of the Megaman series.

We have monthly events (or at least something new every month), but we also welcome any player-run events or ideas to keep things new and fresh! Some of these events will include eight robot ma--sorry, I mean, Mavericks causing trouble with the need to stop them, but in this case...
